My little reader

This sight just made me smile. I walked by Grant's room a few Saturday mornings ago and saw him sprawled out on the floor, on his quilt- reading. It reminded me of countless hours during my childhood. He found some Star Wars books at the thrift store and he's just been cruising through them. I always wanted him to have a love for books and reading. It makes my heart happy.

  1. Oh my gosh, me too. I would curl up on a blanket on top of one of our old timey radiators and read all the "Little House" books. I spent the entire winter there. Summers was in a chair in front of our one air conditioner. Even today, I'm happy with just a book. I love that he is too. I think that's the best thing we can do for our children-make them want to and love to read... Yea Grant!!!

  2. So sweet! One of the things I love the most is watching Alyson read. I love that we have kids that love to read like their mamas!
